Installing new slabs over an existing terrace is possible in some cases: if the existing foundation is sound and level, installation on adjustable pedestals can sometimes avoid complete demolition, an option assessed during the technical visit. Regarding financing, outdoor paving does not fall under energy grants and therefore does not qualify for a direct regional grant, except for occasional local municipal exceptions; however, it can be financed through the ECORENO credit if the overall renovation project also includes energy-related items.
