In an apartment, how to avoid noise complaints?

Does LVT have risks of deformation?

LVT is very stable if the flatness of the substrate is well done (often a thin leveling compound) and if peripheral gaps are respected. In full sunlight, we choose suitable ranges and, if necessary, we address thermal inputs (blinds).

Wood flooring and open kitchen: is it reasonable?

Yes, with a well-finished engineered wood, an effective doormat at the terrace/garden entrance, and regular maintenance. For intensive and “worry-free” use, LVT or tiles remain more tolerant.

Should doors be removed and thresholds adjusted?

Depending on the new thickness and the method (glued/floating/clip), it may be necessary to plane the doors, adjust the frames, and install transition profiles. We anticipate this in the offer.
