2 - The type of heat pump chosen

The operating mode is another factor affecting the installation price of a heat pump. Air-to-water heat pumps are generally more expensive than air-to-air models. Their price ranges from 8,000 to 15,000 euros, while an air-to-air heat pump costs between 3,000 and 8,000 euros. The final amount can be higher depending on the power of the device and the specific constraints of your sanitary installation.

The geothermal heat pump, on the other hand, often represents the most expensive option. Its cost varies based on criteria such as the depth of the required drilling or the characteristics of the land. The more complex the installation, the higher the budget: you should expect between 10,000 and 30,000 euros.

Moreover, for air-to-air and air-to-water systems, calories are transferred from outside to inside the home. However, you can opt for a reversible air conditioning system, which allows heat to be expelled from the inside to the outside. The heat pump thus provides heating and cooling according to your needs.
