The details of the complete renovation project of a house in Anderlecht
In a beautiful single-family home located in Anderlecht near Brussels, a couple called upon Avenir Rénovations to renovate their entire interior. The property, well-located but dated, required a complete renovation, both aesthetic and technical. Kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom, hallway… everything was reviewed in the smallest details.
The big challenge? Coordinating all trades, modernizing the installations while respecting the existing structure, all without extending deadlines. A dense but exciting project, managed from A to Z by our Project Manager.
Step 1: Compliance of electricity and plumbing
Before thinking about finishes, it was necessary to secure:
- Complete overhaul of the electrical panel, grounding, new lines
- Modernization of plumbing to supply kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room
- Coordination with the planned partitions and linings
A foundational job, essential to ensure compliance, safety, and durability.
Step 2: Partitions, false ceilings, and room preparation
Thanks to our team of drywall installers, we have:
- Redefined spaces with suitable partitions
- Integrated false ceilings with LED spots for a warm atmosphere
- Prepared supports for tiling, painting, and carpentry work
Step 3: A modern and perfectly integrated kitchen
The old kitchen was completely dismantled. In its place:
- A contemporary model with clean lines, matte finish
- Integrated lighting under high cabinets
- Built-in appliances and multifunctional central island
All laid on a large format tiled floor, to facilitate maintenance without compromising on style.
Step 4: Living room and dining room open to the terrace
The living area was redesigned to gain brightness and fluidity:
- Installation of high-end flooring, natural tones
- Complete replacement of exterior joinery, with black aluminum frames
- Subtle wall paint in circulation areas, bolder accent on the living room side
The large bay window now provides a beautiful opening to the terrace and garden.
Step 5: High-end bedroom and bathroom
In the bedroom, a bold choice:
- Dark walls, thick curtains, muted atmosphere
- Integrated lighting and tone-on-tone flooring
As for the bathroom:
- Designer bathtub, custom vanity
- Wall-mounted faucets and niche built into the partition
- Tiled floor and wall for a minimalist and bright effect
Step 6: Hallways, finishes, and color application
The hallway, often neglected, was treated here as a strong space.
Intense red paint for a gallery effect
Continuous flooring and ambient lighting
Carpentry finishes around frames and doors
A complete site, a transformed interior
This project involved:
- Electricians, plumbers, drywall installers, tilers, carpenters, painters

Today, this Brussels house has regained all its potential, with well-utilized volumes, noble materials, and overall coherence. A challenge met with pride.
