The Avenir Rénovations network continues its development in Belgium with the arrival of Sandrine Champagne, who opens her agency in the province of Brabant wallon.

After several years as an independent consultant in project management and change management, mainly with companies in the energy sector, Sandrine today chooses to turn towards a more concrete profession, closer to her clients' life projects.

Always attracted by renovation and improving living spaces, Sandrine wants to put her organizational skills, rigor, and project management expertise to work on visible, sustainable, and meaningful projects. By joining Avenir Rénovations, she relies on a structured model based on client support, listening, and the principle of a single point of contact. Discover, through this exchange, her professional journey, the reasons for her career change, and the motivations that led her to embark on this adventure with Avenir Rénovations.

Can you tell us about your professional background?

For the past five years, I have worked as an independent consultant in project management and change management, mainly with companies active in the energy sector.

This experience allowed me to develop solid expertise in structuring, coordinating, and managing projects. It also taught me how to move things forward effectively while paying particular attention to the human aspect, which remains essential in any transformation project.

Why did you choose to redirect your career to a different field?

I wanted to turn towards a more concrete profession. In consulting, we build a lot of things, we support significant changes, but we don't always see the final result in a tangible way.

With renovation, we start from a need, a project, sometimes even a very personal issue, and we truly transform a living space. Seeing this evolution, witnessing the final result, and measuring the direct impact of the work done is something that makes much more sense to me today.

What attracted you to the renovation sector?

I have always been drawn to renovation and improving living spaces. What I particularly enjoy is the ability to transform a place, to restore its potential, and to achieve a concrete, visible, and lasting result.

After several years in consulting, I wanted to invest myself in a more tangible project, where I could follow each step from the initial idea to the final realization. Renovation perfectly combines my project management skills, my organizational sense, and my personal interest in living spaces.

Why did you choose to open your business as a franchise?

Franchising offers a reassuring framework, structured tools, and a proven method while allowing one to maintain entrepreneurial independence.

For me, it is a real accelerator to launch more confidently. It allows for solid support, helps avoid certain pitfalls, and relies on an already experienced network while developing one's own activity.

Why did you select Avenir Rénovations as your franchisor?

What particularly resonated with me at Avenir Rénovations is the concept of a single point of contact, which places the client relationship at the heart of the project. Providing clarity, listening, follow-up, and structure are essential elements for me, and I believe this represents a real strength in client support.

I wanted to join a model that allows me to combine rigor, organization, and interpersonal relations. I was also very impressed by the internal team, which provides real support on various essential topics for launching the activity. You can feel that support is present at every stage, which is very reassuring.

How did you learn about the Avenir Rénovations network?

I discovered the Avenir Rénovations network via LinkedIn, through an opportunity posted for the Wavre area.

How would you describe the initial training you received?

The initial training is a very good starting point. It helps to understand the profession, the tools, the method, and the various steps necessary for launching the activity.

But beyond the theoretical aspect, it mainly provides confidence. Sharing field experiences allows for concrete projection, anticipating certain situations, and avoiding mistakes. I leave with the feeling of having all the cards in hand to get started.

Do you think you have all the necessary means to launch your agency?
I still need to fully familiarize myself with the tools and processes, which is normal when launching a new activity. But overall, yes, I feel ready to start this new adventure with confidence and motivation.
