Driven by the desire to undertake and invest in a more independent activity, he chose to join the Avenir Rénovations network. Passionate about renovation, which he has practiced both personally and in the context of associative projects, he now supports individuals in the Marche-en-Famenne region with their renovation projects, relying on his organizational skills, management experience, and the expertise of the network.
Can you tell us about your professional background?
My professional journey has led me to work in several sectors. I first worked in logistics before permanently shifting towards the socio-cultural sector.
Over the years, I have held various roles, ranging from order management to financial responsibility. These different experiences have allowed me to develop great versatility, good organizational skills, and a comprehensive view of managing a structure.
Why did you choose to redirect your career to a different field?
I felt the need to shift towards a more independent activity, less reliant on public aid and more focused on entrepreneurship.
This new professional stage represents for me the opportunity to build a solid, concrete, and sustainable project, leveraging the skills I have acquired throughout my career.
What attracted you to the renovation sector?
Renovation has always been part of my journey, both personally and in the context of volunteer projects carried out for several socio-cultural associations.
I have always enjoyed transforming, improving, and enhancing existing spaces. It is a tangible sector where you can directly see the results of the work done. This tangible aspect, combined with the real utility of the projects for clients, naturally drew me towards renovation.
Why did you choose to open your business as a franchise?
I chose franchising to benefit from the strength of a network, structured support, and a set of already proven tools.
The franchise model allows you not to have to create everything from scratch. It offers a clear framework, working methods, operational supports, and a collective dynamic that facilitate the launch of the activity while maintaining the entrepreneur's autonomy.
Why did you select Avenir Rénovations as your franchisor?
Avenir Rénovations matched my ambitions and my desire to enter a specific sector with an already structured model.
The concept proposed by the network seemed relevant to me, particularly due to its comprehensive approach to renovation and its positioning as a single point of contact for clients. It is a model that meets a real need in the market and provides clear, professional, and reassuring support to individuals.
How did you learn about the Avenir Rénovations network?
I discovered the Avenir Rénovations network through LinkedIn.
How would you describe the initial training you received?
The initial training provides a good foundation to get started. It helps to better understand the functioning of the network, the tools, the methods, and the important steps of the profession.
It also offers very useful reminders about the reality on the ground, with relevant warnings. This allows for approaching the launch of the agency with more perspective, preparation, and vigilance.
Do you think you have all the necessary resources to launch your agency?
I still notice a certain difference between the resources available for the French market and those provided in Belgium. This therefore requires additional adaptability.
Nevertheless, I feel ready to move forward with the available resources, relying on the network, the support offered, and my own experience to launch the agency under the best possible conditions.
